In Celebration of Your Dream

...................................................................................................................................................

Susan Homer -Dove Entwined"No matter what we are searching for, love, purpose, wealth...,
often it seems we have forgotten to bring along the road plans on hand for the journey.   Or we are too distracted to read the milestones.
How could it not be difficult for us to reach our greatest destination?
So let's remind ourselves once again, of this amazing internal navigating system available to all of us,

Aristotle showed us the difference between the potential and the actual.*1  Mere matter is not yet the real thing.  It needs a force.
The ultimate form of a species is contained in the seed and the species always grows towards this ultimate potential.
But to do so, it needs an inner activity, a vital principle. This inner force is called entelechy, which can be loosely translated as completeness.

We too have an inner force called essence or spirit that pushes us forward to what we are meant to become.   Carl Jung formulates it like this: our psyche contains an indwelling sense of its destiny and wholeness.
In other words:  deeply built within us is a someone who knows exactly where to go, what to do and how to create the very best.
Sioux Indian people call the force "nagi".  John Fire Lame Deer describes nagi from a vision quest experience: "One can't see it , feel it or taste it, but that time alone on the hill - and only that once - I knew it was there inside me. Then I felt the power surge through me like a flood. I cannot describe it but it filled all of me.*2
The native priest of the Hawaiian Islands, the Kahunas, which translates in "keepers of the secret", call the higher self Akuahaiamio, "the god who speaks silently".*3
"True singing is a different breath", says Rainer Maria Rilke. "A gust inside the God".*4
So relax.  We can hold hands with the higher self, our very own guide and guardian angel.  We can team up with the inner force and live indeed our best.  No need for worry, struggle or hesitation.

Many are talking about "The Secret" these days, as if it's a new concept.*5
But the great secret has been known since the beginning of time. The Aboriginal people knew about dreaming the world into existence.  The ancient Polynesians knew and their Kahunas are the keepers of the Huna, the Secret.  Their practice, amongst other things, was to change things for the better:  the "make luck business".
"What you can do or think you can, begin it!   Begin it and the work will be completed", said Goethe, because he knew too.  Untill we believe that it is,  said Ernest Holmes, we are believing that it is not!
"A man is what he thinks about all day long", said Emerson, "thoughts rule the world".  And Jamie Sams, a Native American medicine teacher tells us that the human children of the earth have body's that stand upright, keeping their thoughts above their bodies as a reminder that thoughts are the first acts of manifesting reality.
Through the ages groups and individuals have known about the awesome power of selfulfilling prophecy and the Law of Attraction or High Invocation.  If I change and shift my thinking and let go of old thoughts, I make room for new thoughts.  New thoughts literally generate new things, new manifestation.
"Whatever you picture in your mind, if you picture it vividly and earnestly enough, is eventually attracted to you, in your outer world.   How this is actually done, science still does not know.  But the old adage, as man thinketh, so is he, is profoundly true".*6   With our thoughts we make the world, says the Buddha.  "Ask, believing that ye have received it now", said Jesus. Deep down we all know too.
So relax.  We can think up our dream, unlock our potential and find the treasures.

After 30 years of working with every kind of people on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, one begins to see a pattern. There are unconscious, often self-created, ways standing in the way of dream.
I arranged them neatly in an article - Your Dream Confined  - even though our lives are not to be reduced to linear categories.  No pigeon holes, or one size fits all, we want to rise above the box.
The beauty of self created obstacles is that you can re-create them.   You can learn how to replace old with new. Once obstacles are dissolved you've confronted fate. You now have options, you have a choice.
You're now free to live spirit and use free will, full force.   Off you go thinking and creating new manifestation, living the dream, there all along, but simply not seen or attracted before, because of static, pollution and shackles.

The Hellenic scholar and theologian Origen shares in Liviticum Homilae: "You are a little world and have within you the sun and the moon and also the stars".*7
Stardust and golden, inner force and law of attraction, called or not called upon, the powers are there.
So why not assert your rights? Why not have the best? Why not place the call? Why not educate yourself about the powerful allies right there inside of you? And then summon up. Why not break fate's chains?  Why not solve the secret of your miracle?  Why not live the riches?
After all: you have the promise of sun and moon and stars!
